Rita Serra e Silva

Rita Serra e Silva (Lisbon, 1991) is an architect and cultural programmer with her practice linked to research on two distinct but complementary themes: Territorial Literacy and Sustainability in Architecture. She is PhD student and Visiting Professor at the University of Minho and Coordinator of Public Development and Cultural Capacity Building of Ponta Delgada's application process to become the European Capital of Culture 2027. As co-founder of the platform Architects Declare Portugal she promotes good practices in architecture for the mitigation of environmental impact in the construction sector. Since 2017 her activity has focused on cultural mediation services, collaborating with Intermunicipal Communities, 23 Milhas - Ílhavo, the Walk&Talk Azores Festival, the company Talkie-Walkie, the Portuguese Architectural Association, among others.
