Book
PARTE Book is a reference publication-guide for Art Tourism in Portugal, which invites you to (re)discover the country through its museums, galleries, independent art spaces, and Contemporary Art events.
It combines a comprehensive mapping of structures with regular programming in the different regions of Portugal, with the publication of contributions from artists and other guest authors, which contextualize and reflect on artistic practices in the local and international scene.
FIRST EDITION: In dialogue
Contributions by DELFIM SARDO, ISABEL CARLOS, JOÃO PEDRO VALE & NUNO ALEXANDRE FERREIRA, MARGARIDA MENDES, NERINGA BUMBLIENĖ, ODETE, RAQUEL LIMA, VICENTE TODOLÍ and VINCENZO DE BELLIS.
“Through this book, it was possible to (re)map a country where there were already connections between contemporary practices, but whose state of development was an opportunity to go further – hence the book’s motto “in dialogue”. The invitation to several authors, artists, and curators seemed like an opportunity to reflect on some of the urgent, complex, and heterogeneous issues that determine the present and future concerns of contemporary art.” – Ricardo Ramos Goncalves, Editor
PARTE Book has a cover price of 40 euros and will soon be available in a network of selected bookstores and stores.
