Joana Mayer

Joana Mayer (Lisbon, 1985). Graduated in Performing Arts by the Faculty of Arts of the University of Lisbon, Master in Cultural Management by the Portuguese Catholic University, where she was also a PhD student in Cultural Studies and Guest Lecturer of the discipline of Marketing of Performing Arts. Since 2005 she is a cultural producer in the areas of cinema, dance and theater, and in multidisciplinary projects in different institutions, namely Materiais Diversos and Gulbenkian Foundation. She has worked in cultural consultancy in the areas of audience loyalty, fundraising, and programming and circulation strategies for some of the most important national institutions. She was Executive Director of Galeria Francisco Fino, in Lisbon, between 2016 and 2021.
