Jesse James (Vancouver, 1987). Lives and works between Lisbon and Ponta Delgada as a cultural programmer and independent curator, combining curatorial projects and strategic management of projects, artists and cultural structures. He is co-founder and president of Anda&amp;Fala – Cultural Association, a contemporary and multidisciplinary creative structure in the Azores Islands, and leads the artistic direction of Walk&amp;Talk – Arts Festival. He is co-founder and part of the curatorial team of Fabric Arts Festival in Fall River (Massachusetts, USA). In Parallel, over the last years, he has assumed the direction of Production of structures such as Nome Próprio and artists such as Gustavo Ciríaco or Sofia Caetano. He regularly participates as a speaker in seminars and lectures and was selected for the Atelier for Young Festival Programmers in 2016 in Budapest. He has a degree in Tourism and Leisure from ESTH / IPG – specialization in Communication and Cultural Planning and attended a postgraduate program in Curatorial Studies at FCSH – Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

Jesse James (Vancouver, 1987). Vive e trabalha entre Lisboa e Ponta Delgada como programador cultural e curador independente, combinando projetos curatoriais e gestão estratégica de projectos, artistas e estruturas culturais. É co-fundador e presidente da Anda&amp;Fala - Associação Cultural, uma estrutura criativa contemporânea e multidisciplinar nas Ilhas dos Açores, e lidera a direção artística do Walk&amp;Talk - Festival de Artes. É co-fundador e faz parte da equipa curatorial do Fabric Arts Festival em Fall River (Massachusetts, EUA). Paralelamente, nos últimos anos, assumiu a direção de Produção de estruturas como Nome Próprio e artistas como Gustavo Ciríaco ou Sofia Caetano. Participa regularmente como orador em seminários e palestras e foi selecionado para o Atelier para Jovens Programadores de Festivais em 2016, em Budapeste. É licenciado em Turismo e Lazer pela ESTH / IPG - especialização em Comunicação e Planeamento Cultural e frequentou um programa de pós-graduação em Estudos Curatoriais na FCSH - Universidade Nova de Lisboa.

PARTE Summit is an international event that brings together some of the most prominent thinkers in the contemporary art field. It convenes different knowledge and people interested in following artistic practices in relation to the transformation of territories and societies.&nbsp;The program includes lectures, round table discussions, and performances in response to questions previously raised by the invited curators. Based on these questions, multidisciplinary panels bring together artists, authors, and other thinkers to rehearse answers or give continuity to common questions.&nbsp;PARTE Summit'22 took place on two consecutive Saturdays and in two full-day sessions in different regions of the country, on July 30, at Convento São Francisco in Coimbra, and August 6, 2022, at Cineteatro Louletano in Loulé.
