Erik Augustin Palm

Erik Augustin Palm is a Swedish journalist, editor and TV-producer based in Tokyo. He has written for The New York Times, The Guardian, The FADER, VICE, Slate and many other major global media outlets, and Sweden’s biggest art magazines. Contemporary art / design / architecture is one of Erik’s main focus points, and he has interviewed Japanese icons like Takashi Murakami and Yayoi Kusama, and American icons like Kehinde Wiley and Annie Leibovitz. Erik has also done substantial coverage on Portuguese art / design / architecture. Between 2010 to 2020, Erik was based in California as an arts and culture correspondent for Sweden’s biggest media outlets.
