David Cabecinha (1987) is a graduate of the Lisbon Film and Theatre School (Lisbon), where he studied theatre/acting. He has worked regularly in the performing arts field and cinema since 2008, as dramaturgist, co-script writer, actor, producer and director’s assistant. He has worked with Portuguese theatre companies such as mala voadora, choreographers such as Dinis Machado, Rita Natálio and João dos Santos Martins and film directors such as Jorge Jácome and Carlos Conceição. From 2016 to 2017 he assumed the artistic direction of Temps d’Images Festiva, promoting experimentation by emerging artists and consolidated artists such Vera Mantero and Apichatpong Weerasethakul. In 2018, with Carla Nobre Sousa, he assumed the artistic direction of Alkantara, defending the diversification of cultural programmes and promoting public discussions through performing arts works that contribute to more inclusive and accessible futures.&nbsp;

David Cabecinha (1987)&nbsp;é licenciado em teatro, ramo actores, na Escola Superior de Teatro e Cinema (Lisboa). Trabalha regularmente nas artes performativas e em cinema desde 2008, como dramaturgista, co-argumentista, ator, produtor e assistente de realização/encenação. No seu percurso colaborou com companhias de teatro como a mala voadora, com coreógrafas e coreógrafos como Dinis Machado, Rita Natálio e João dos Santos Martins e realizadores com Jorge Jácome e Carlos Conceição. Entre 2016 e 2017 assume a direcção artística do festival Temps d’Images Lisboa, onde promoveu uma programação de experimentação por artistas emergentes e artistas consolidados, como Vera Mantero e Apichatpong Weerasethakul. Em 2018 assume a direção artística do Alkantara, com Carla Nobre Sousa, onde defende a diversificação das programações culturais e promove diálogos para futuros mais acessíveis e inclusivos, a partir das artes performativas.

PARTE Summit is an international event that brings together some of the most prominent thinkers in the contemporary art field. It convenes different knowledge and people interested in following artistic practices in relation to the transformation of territories and societies.&nbsp;The program includes lectures, round table discussions, and performances in response to questions previously raised by the invited curators. Based on these questions, multidisciplinary panels bring together artists, authors, and other thinkers to rehearse answers or give continuity to common questions.&nbsp;PARTE Summit'22 took place on two consecutive Saturdays and in two full-day sessions in different regions of the country, on July 30, at Convento São Francisco in Coimbra, and August 6, 2022, at Cineteatro Louletano in Loulé.
